Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, is a powerful psychotherapy technique which has been very successful in helping people who suffer from trauma, anxiety, panic, disturbing memories, chronic pain, post traumatic stress and many other problems. Until recently, these conditions were difficult and time-consuming to treat. EMDR is considered a breakthrough therapy because of its simplicity and that it can bring quick and lasting relief for most types of emotional distress.

The “Defining the Relationship” is based on the work of Danny Silk (Bethel) and is great for people in marriage or considering marriage, divorced, or wanting to acquire skills required to secure a successful relationship. At Hard Knox, we use the Gottman method and REBT when counselling couples. The Gottman Method is the most effective relationship therapy available. It builds up beneficial relationship elements such as: friendship, positive regard, family rituals and your emotional bank account.
